Boyle County Schools is asking families to help the district reduce class sizes and bring academic resources to every child.
Families of students at Woodlawn Elementary School, Boyle County Middle School or Boyle County High School are asked to complete the application for free/reduced lunch. Boyle County Schools' goal is to have 100 percent participation for all families. This data contributes to several funding sources, including preschool, after school and summer programs, extra instruction in reading and math, discounts on technologies provided to public schools and libraries, and more! Families are asked to simply complete the application and help bring resources to all students in the district and the community.
It may be surprising who qualifies for free/reduced lunch. A family of 4 with an annual income under $49,025 qualifies! So does a family of 5 under $57,424! There’s a tiered scale on page 3 here: bit.ly/3BbB8eL.
Families with a student(s) at Junction City Elementary School and/or Perryville Elementary School are completing a similar household income form. KUDOS to the Jaguars for having nearly 100 percent participation! The Bulldogs aren’t far behind. Way to go!
Families with a student at JCES/PES and BCMS/BCHS/WES, who've already completed the similar application, are asked to complete this form, too.
Furthermore, any family in need of a fee waiver can find the application here: bit.ly/21-22bcfeewaiver.
