In conjunction with the Boyle County Health Department, Boyle County Schools reviewed the Department of Public Health's COVID-19 incidence matrix tonight, and Boyle County is still well within the “red” level.
Boyle County Schools will continue to operate under the Learning at Home Plan (Virtual and Self-Paced Learning ONLY) through Tuesday, Nov. 24. We will reassess the situation on Thanksgiving night and will communicate another decision on Friday, Nov. 27.
There will be a first come, first served bulk meal pickup at Boyle County Middle School on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 5 PM - 6:30 PM. Families will receive a 7-school-day meal kit to get them through Dec. 1 because there will be no weekly pickup on Tuesday, Nov. 24. There is no registration necessary for this coming Tuesday's pickup.
Daily meal pickups will continue weekdays at BCHS from 12 PM - 1:30 PM. Families may pick up food for all kids 18 and under. No registration is required.
Home meal delivery will continue to the addresses of children who were participating in the home delivery meal program on Sept. 24. To sign up for home meal delivery, complete this form: bit.ly/BCFREEMEALS2021.
We hope to welcome back our in-person students on Nov. 30 should the county's incidence rate improve and/or become attributable to something other than community spread.
If you have any questions, please contact your child's principal.
