Boyle County Virtual Learning (BCVL) is a digital platform-based learning model which will serve as the primary source of instruction. A digital platform is a computer-based program that provides access to videos, tutorials, explanations and practice activities for courses/classwork. The student will complete all required platform work and any supplemental work that is assigned within the deadlines and timeframes. This is a self-paced program that allows students the flexibility to work outside “normal” school hours. It is NOT the same as the virtual instruction offered during the 2020-21 school year. There will be times students will be required to meet virtually with teachers and come onsite for assessments (including state assessments).
Student who meet the following criteria are able to apply to BCVL:

While a virtual learning option isn't a good fit for all students, Boyle County Schools recognizes this mode of instruction is optimal for some students. In order to be successful in BCVL, students should, at a minimum, exhibit the following characteristics:
The parent/guardian of an interested student will sign a contract during the completion of the application agreeing to several requirements of BCVL.
