Prior to tonight’s Special Called Board of Education Meeting, we held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Boyle County Performing Arts Center (BCPAC) on Cunningham Way.
Superintendent Mike LaFavers addressed the crowd with remarks on how the new performing arts center came into fruition.
Board of Education chairperson Jennifer Newby cut the ribbon and invited all Board members and other special guests, including members of the Boyle County Education Foundation, to tour the new space and experience a short light and sound show before the Board meeting.
About the Boyle County Performing Arts Center
Boyle County Performing Arts Center is a 500-seat, state-of-the-art facility that can accommodate a wide range of performances. The Center is equipped to host school and community-based performances, as well as attract first-class touring Broadway musicals and plays. The proscenium theatre features a full fly loft with professional rigging, orchestra pit, performance lighting and sound, multi-level seating, lobby with ticket office, scenery shop and green room.The venue is located adjacent to Boyle County Middle School at 315 Cunningham Way, Danville, Ky. 40422.
