Congratulations to the class of 2023 Boyle County Arts Academy (BCAA)! Students auditioned in the areas of Visual Arts, Drama, Dance, Vocal and Instrumental.
Danville, KY October 18, 2022– Today, statewide scores were released for the Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA). This year, the state has categorized progress status levels as very high (blue), high (green), medium (yellow), very low (orange) and low (red). The overall ratings put Boyle County as one of the highest achieving districts in the state.
Boyle County Schools recently hired two certified teachers to fill new positions within its Arts Academy.
Boyle County High School juniors Madison Craig, Alexandria Fowler and Landon Scott will attend the Commonwealth Honors Academy on the campus of Murray State University this summer.
Four BCHS students have been selected to participate in the 2022 Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts, and two have been chosen for the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs.
Eight Boyle County High School juniors have been selected to participate in the 2022 Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program.
Jennifer Pierson has been selected as the next principal of Woodlawn Elementary School.
