PROJECT GRADUATION - Any parent wanting to help the night of Project Graduation MUST sign up in the front office by Thursday, May 23rd. Only parents signed up in advance will be permitted to attend. Only students who turned in permission forms and are on the FINAL attendance list posted outside the front office may attend.

Cap and Gown Information - Remember you may not decorate the mortar board or add any other accompaniments to the cap and gown. We do recommend you write your name on the inside of your cap.

Special Seating Needs for Graduation: If you have a guest attending graduation with a hearing, visual and/or physical impairment, please be sure to pick up our special seating request form from the front office (or download below) and return it to Mrs. Michael no later than Wednesday, May 15. Due to limited seating, only one guest may accompany each of these guests. NO EMAIL OR PHONE REQUESTS will be accepted.

Baccalaureate Service: The Baccalaureate Service will be held at the First Baptist Church on Sunday, May 19 at 6:00 p.m. This will be a very nice service produced by our seniors and affords senior families a time to enjoy one another before the chaos of graduation! Seniors need to arrive at 5:30 pm in full graduation attire.

Senior Meeting: A MANDATORY senior meeting will be held on Thursday, May 23, in the high school cafeteria at 8:10 a.m. ALL SENIORS PLANNING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GRADUATION CEREMONY MUST ATTEND.

Senior Trip: Seniors will enjoy a trip to King's Island on Thursday, May 23. Students attending should bring money for lunch and any other items they may want to purchase.

Graduation Practice: A full dress and MANDATORY rehearsal for graduation will take place Friday morning, May 24, from 8:30 a.m. until noon. ALL SENIORS PLANNING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GRADUATION CEREMONY MUST ATTEND THE FULL PRACTICE.

50TH Annual Commencement Ceremony: The graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, May 24, at 7:00 p.m. in our high school gymnasium. Doors will open promptly at 6:00 p.m., but not before. Seniors need to arrive by 6:15 p.m. to line up. We expect our gym to be packed, so we do encourage guests to arrive early. Saving seats is not permitted, so please be sure your entire group plans to arrive together. Out of respect for every graduate, we ask that guests adhere to the following:
- All guests need to be seated by 6:50 p.m. to allow our graduates to be ready for the procession at promptly 7:00 p.m.
- All guests should remain in their seats during the entire ceremony.
- No guests are permitted on the gym floor during the entire ceremony. You may take photos from your seats. Every graduate will have a formal portrait and photo receiving his/her diploma taken during practice.
- Out of respect to each and every graduate, PLEASE refrain from loud and prolonged noises as our graduates are awarded their diplomas. We want to be sure that every name is heard and every graduate is appropriately honored.
- Again, to show respect to ALL of our graduates, please remain standing at your seats at the end of the ceremony until all graduates have exited the gym. Then, we ask that you join your graduates on the front lawn for a fireworks display!

Congratulations to the Tech Rebels VEX team for recieving the coveted Excellence Award in St. Louis on March 2nd. This award has given the team a ticket to VEX World Championships in Anaheim, California! The team will be at Worlds from April 17th to 20th. With only 400 spots available for this competition puts our Tech rebels in the top 6% of competitors in the Country! Good luck to our Tech Rebels Robotics! |

The LeSabre Yearbook team is very proud to announce that the 2012-2013 yearbook will showcase ALL of our Boyle County Students and teall EVERYONE'S story!! That's right - 100% of our students who are permitted to be photographed are featured in our yearbook at least 3 times! We are committed to make our publication a book full of memories for every student!
With deadlines fast approaching, we want EVERYONE to have the opportunity to purchase a yearbook. If you have not already done so, please note the following:
- The Pre-sales discount price of $55 (plus shipping nad handling) ends on Friday, May 3 at midnight.
- The last day to order personalization or any other accessories is May 10.
- Extended sales for yearbook only will continue through May 31 (for the cost of $60 plus s/h)
- All sales will end on May 31.

THE YEARBOOK TEAM will be offering "live" sales during lunch waves on Thursday and Friday, May 2-3. For those who are reluctant or unable to order online, we will take your order for you. The total cost (includes s/h) is $62. Checks should be made payable to BCHS Media. If you want personalization and/or icons, the cost will increase to include these costs.
