BCHS Football Competes for its 8th State Title on Friday

Coach Chuck Smith and the Boyle County Rebels punched their tickets to the Class 3A state final with a 14-7 victory over Elizabethtown on Friday. Tickets to the 2017 Russell Athletic/KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl games – the state championship games for all six Kentucky high school classifications – are available now.

All Boyle County Schools will be on their regular schedules on Friday. Student celebrations will be held throughout the week, including spirit week at BCHS and pep rallies at Boyle County Middle School, Junction City Elementary School, Perryville Elementary School and Woodlawn Elementary School.

Please note:

  • Boyle County will be on the visitors’ side. General admission tickets grant you access to Kroger Field, but you may sit anywhere within general admission seating areas.  
  • Both eTickets and Will Call options are available online
  • Tickets will not be available for purchase at school
  • Gates 2, 4, 9 and 12 and Commonwealth Tower Lobby will open one hour prior to kickoff

Pep bus transporation is available on a first come, first serve basis for BCHS students only. 

Please note:

  • The bus will leave from BCHS at 5:00 p.m. and return at approximately 11:00 p.m.  
  • To ride, students must complete a permission form (may be picked up in the office) with a parent/guardian signature. Forms must be returned to the office no later than Friday morning.
  • Students riding the bus to the game must return to school on the bus.
